Ha ha. One of my favorite stories about Guruji from the book by the same name is that he called marriage the seventh series.
I am cheating a little at the Intermediate series. I am putting the urdhva dhanurasana AFTER kapotasana. My back is so warm from the prior backbend series, it just feels better. I got that idea from the shortened Intermediate workshop from Richard Freeman. That is how he sequenced it.
Plus if you can’t quite get into kapo but get your hands on the floor, it is a kind of modified camel/wheel pose so it makes sense.
Plus, I sort of lost my urdhva dhanurasana pose for a while. Doing it cold just doesn’t feel right, but I still do it once during the finishing sequence. I can do three really long ones right after kapo. Once I get IT back, I will go back to the correct sequencing.
I did get some bird pics. Here is a great shot of the female cardinal.
Hands down she is the most photogenic. The male always leaves when I am about to get a good shot.
We also had a beautiful yellow finch with his head stuck in the feeder.
And several fair pics of the male.
He is a magnificent bird. We have about three males now, two younger ones and the full adult.
This morning was a shortened primary since today is too busy and stressful for me to even pretend I will do it at 7:30 at night.
