I am signing up for some workshops with her and some Mysore at Moksha yoga in Chicago in June. I am going to one on the Intro to Second Series, Adjustments in the Primary Series, and Unlocking the Pelvis. A whole lotta mula bandha!
I LOVE the Moksha neighborhood and Moksha has the best RETAIL area ever. I love a good workshop and buying some retail in Chicago. There is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant (many notable pizzarias in Chicago) that serves a HUGE bowl of Greek salad. I have had a lot of good times at yoga ESPECIALLY when Dar comes along:

I am also attending some workshops at Yogaview in November with Tim Miller. The studio is mainly Ashtanga and is really one of the prettiest studios I have seen. It is built in an old warehouse and it has this great view of downtown Chicago.
I also never mention Chicago without talking about the beautiful Turbodog studio run my Forrest teachers Steve and Talya. It is also a beautiful studio in a warehouse and Steve and Talya are top notch teachers. They are also lovely people.
My husband and I also go hang out down on the loop once or twice a year and walk, dine, shop, and whatever else comes up. There are several studios in the loop I have enjoyed visiting, Tejas and Yoga Now Chicago.
